18th ANNUAL SPRING/HOME GARDEN SHOW

DEL MAR, Calif. (December 9, 2002) – The 18th Annual Spring Home/Garden Show presented by Hyundai will be held Feb. 28-March 2, 2003 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Show hours are from noon-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28; 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, March 1; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday, March 2. Admission is $12.00; children under 12 are free. Seniors receive a special admission price of $5.00 on opening day only; special price tickets are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 4 p.m. for $6.00.

A special feature is “The Garden Masters,” showcasing the theatrically lit landscape design and installation talents of San Diego’s finest designers and firms. Landscapers will draw inspiration from “Garden Masters” – painters such as Monet and Renoir who’ve influenced creative approaches to the ideals of garden beauty, but are also free to create their own interpretations.

In addition, local flower clubs will present a Standard Flower Show, specialty growers will have a plant sale, plus seminars by leading gardening experts and more than 450 exhibits with products and services for inside and outside the home will be presented throughout the 5-acre Home/Garden Show.
