THE 24TH ANNUAL SPRING HOME/GARDEN SHOW RETURNS TO THE DEL MAR FAIRGROUNDS
FEBRUARY 27, 28, MARCH 1
Del Mar, Calif., -- Westward Expos announced today the 24th annual Spring Home/Garden Show is returning to the Del Mar Fair Grounds. Scheduled for February 27, 28 and March 1, the Spring Home/Garden Show is the perfect place to shop for inspiration for any kind of home and garden project. Inside the display halls there are hundreds of exhibits showcasing money-saving tips for home improvement, expert advice, and the hottest new products at special prices and trends in decorating and gardening.
Also, the Spring Home/Garden Show is about gardens, including “Garden Masters”, 22 beautiful display gardens by top local landscape architects, designers and contractors created just for this show. The outdoor emphasis is “Water Smart” as we face the need to use this precious resource more efficiently yet can still enjoy beautiful landscapes.
Free on-going seminars emphasize the “Water Smart” theme as local experts educate and inform on “green” topics focusing on plants and gardening. The Center for Sustainable Energy will present the unbiased facts about home solar systems.
“Meet the Experts” features face-to-face contact with professionals who can answer questions about everything from landscaping to sustainable energy, building codes to getting rid of garden pests.
Learn about great plants for our area from local plant groups located out-of-doors at the show along with a host of vendors of plants and garden products.
The show hours are Friday, February 27, 11am-6pm; Saturday, February 28, 10am-6pm; and Sunday, March 1, 10am-5pm. Admission is $8.00; children under 12 are free. Seniors only pay $1 admission on Friday. After 3 pm all tickets are $6.00. Discount tickets on the website are $6.00
